From an early age, Dr. Navid Javadi felt drawn to both science and craftsmanship. Growing up in a family of physicians, he developed a deep respect for medicine and caring for others. At the same time, he found satisfaction in working with his hands—shaping, refining, and paying attention to the smallest details.
Dentistry became the natural intersection of those passions, blending medical knowledge with artistry and precision. Over time, that interest grew into a deep commitment to the profession.
He’s especially drawn to full-mouth rehabilitation and dental implants, where careful planning, surgical skill, and artistic restorative detail must work together. He finds these cases both challenging and intellectually rewarding.
After several years practicing general dentistry in Tempe, Arizona, Dr. Javadi relocated to San Diego in 2010 and purchased his own practice, now known as Javadi Smiles.
