Our Dental Technology in La Mesa

Technology chosen carefully to improve accuracy, clarity, and your overall experience.

Precision Is Not Optional

From diagnosis to final result, each step is handled with care and purpose.

At Javadi Smiles, technology is never added for show. Each tool is selected because it helps us diagnose more clearly, plan more carefully, and deliver top-quality dental care. When we can see accurately and measure properly, we reduce guesswork and improve long-term stability.

Better imaging and digital tools allow us to detect concerns earlier and approach treatment with confidence. That means fewer surprises, more predictable outcomes, and care that supports your health well beyond today’s appointment. It is part of how we protect your time, your comfort, and your long-term well-being.

Tools That Support Better Dental Care

When we can see more clearly, we can treat more thoughtfully.

Full-Mouth
Scanner

We use a full-mouth scanner (also called an intraoral scanner, or digital mouth scanner) to get a digital image of the teeth and gums. Dental scanners have replaced the old process of making rubber molds of a patient’s teeth and gums. The digital images are easier for the patient and dentist to review, and much more accurate for creating dental appliances.

CBCT
Imaging

We perform 3D scanning (also called cone beam computed tomography or cone beam CT) X-rays when a traditional dental X-ray does not provide enough detail. This advanced imaging is especially helpful when designing a dental appliance, evaluating impacted teeth, or examining the soft tissues of the mouth.

Intraoral
Camera

Our intraoral camera allows us to capture real-time images of your teeth and gums during your exam. As we examine your mouth, you can see exactly what we see, which helps guide an open and clear conversation about your dental health. Our goal is for you to feel informed and involved in every observation we make, and the intraoral camera makes that possible.

Handheld
X-Rays

We use a handheld X-ray unit called a Nomadâ„¢, which is easier to manage than regular wall-mounted X-ray units. The Nomadâ„¢ allows us to take quick X-rays without leaving the examination room, which reduces appointment time.

Panoramic
X-Ray

We use a panoramic machine when we need to check for advanced periodontal disease, impacted teeth, and jaw disorders like TMJ/TMD. The panoramic machine can also help detect cysts in the jawbone, jaw tumors, and even oral cancer.
